Dr. Aprille Anne Maleficio, affectionately known as "Pia," is a licensed physician and public health expert who holds a Master’s degree in Public Management, majoring in Health Systems and Development. She possesses a diverse background in community health, having served as a "Doctor to the Barrio" (Rural Health Physician) in Loon, Bohol, under the Department of Health. Dr. Maleficio further honed her expertise in psychiatry at the National Center for Mental Health, where she also served as Assistant Chief Resident in 2024. She is deeply committed to mental health advocacy, driving operational innovation, and serving communities to achieve a "Mas Mentally Healthy Pilipinas".
